Este cartaz foi produzido como atividade da matéria "Comunicação e Expressão" do curso de Produção Multimídia da UFPA. O objetivo era criar uma campanha sobre o Dia Internacional da Mulher, usando como conceitos as palavras "opressão" e dominação". Trabalhei em cima da ideia (e do fato) de que a mulher está sempre tendo suas vontades, seu modo de pensar e o seu próprio modo de ser controlado pela sociedade (representada pela mão) para que entre nos moldes de "como uma mulher deve ser". A minha inspiração foi a música da banda holandesa de punk rock Bambix, "The Golden Girl", entretanto dei um final diferente para a personagem: ela se rebela e consegue se libertar das amarras. É exatamente por isso que o Dia Internacional da Mulher existe: para que lembremos de tudo o que passamos, de todas aquelas que morreram em nome de um mundo melhor, e para nos incentivar a continuar lutando!
This poster was produced as an activity for the "Communication and Expression" subject of Multimedia Prodution course at UFPA. The aim was to create a campaign about the International Women's Day, using the concepts of "opression" and "domination". I worked with the idea (and fact) that women are always having their will, point of view and way of being controlled by society (the hand) so they can be like "a real woman should be". I got inspired by the song "The Golden Girl", by dutch punk rock band Bambix; however I made a different end for the character: the girl rebels and frees herself of the moorings. That's why the International Woman's Day exists for: so we can remember all we went through, all those who died trying to make the world a better place, and to keep us moving on fighting!
